AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a utilities location. Monitor and document the entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and/or deliveries, helping to support authorized access and reporting unusual activity to site contacts. Verify credentials, visitor logs, badges, and/or access permissions before allowing entry to restricted or controlled areas, following post orders and established protocols. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to supervisors and/or local responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around entry points, gates, buildings, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. A guard card/license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
