  • Part-time Overview Join our dedicated team as a Court Security / Warrant Officer in a dynamic, part-time role designed to uphold safety, enforce legal compliance, and ensure the smooth operation of court facilities.
This vital position offers an exciting opportunity to serve the community by maintaining secure environments, executing warrant enforcement, and supporting law enforcement operations. Responsibilities Maintain court security by monitoring entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to prevent unauthorized access. Enforce court protocols and procedures while ensuring the safety of staff, visitors, and legal personnel. Conduct surveillance activities within court premises to identify suspicious behavior or security threats. Execute warrant enforcement actions with professionalism and adherence to legal standards. Assist law enforcement officers with criminal investigations related to court security incidents. Write detailed reports documenting security activities, incidents, and warrant executions accurately. Manage conflict situations effectively through conflict management techniques and de-escalation skills. Respond promptly to emergencies by providing first aid or CPR when necessary and coordinating with emergency responders. Conduct routine patrols and inspections of court facilities, including animal handling if applicable for service animals or security animals. Support loss prevention efforts by monitoring for theft or unauthorized activities within court premises. Experience Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles is highly desirable. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage stressful situations confidently. Knowledge of criminal investigation procedures and law enforcement protocols. Familiarity with surveillance systems, report writing, and courtroom security procedures. Valid driving license with a clean driving record for patrol duties. Experience in conflict management, animal handling (if applicable), and immigration law is a plus. Certifications in first aid, CPR, or related emergency response training are advantageous.
