As a Security Officer Badge Coordinator in Seadrift, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location as an Access Control Officer, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and support a professional, customer-focused experience. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorization, and document visitor, vendor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site protocols. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns through appropriate communication channels. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, and restricted access areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Support delivery and material access procedures by checking required documentation, directing arrivals to designated locations, and reporting policy deviations to site leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED. The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
