Job Overview We are seeking a vigilant and professional Commissioned Security Officer to uphold safety standards across designated sites. This role involves monitoring premises, controlling access points, and responding swiftly to incidents. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility, excellent observation skills, and the ability to handle challenging situations with confidence. Responsibilities Enforce access control protocols for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors to ensure only authorized individuals enter the premises Conduct regular patrols of the property, including CCTV surveillance and physical inspections, to identify potential security risks or breaches Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders as needed Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to detect suspicious activity and prevent loss or theft Assist in conflict management by de-escalating tense situations professionally and safely Conduct first aid or CPR if necessary, providing immediate assistance until emergency services arrive Skills Proven experience in security or law enforcement roles with a focus on surveillance and loss prevention Certifications in first aid, CPR, and conflict management are highly desirable Knowledge of CCTV operation and security systems management Strong understanding of security protocols and law enforcement procedures Ability to remain calm under pressure while handling difficult situations effectively Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond quickly in emergency scenarios Join us as a Commissioned Security Officer and be part of a dedicated team committed to safeguarding our communities.
