PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients and shoppers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while following armed post orders and applicable procedures. Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas. Monitor for suspicious activity, potential theft-related concerns, and policy violations; document observations and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or law enforcement as appropriate. Maintain professional interaction with employees, vendors, and visitors while helping to deter unauthorized activity and supporting an orderly shopping environment.
Minimum Requirements:
Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security experience. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
