Job Description As a Security Officer Access Specialist in Texas City, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, support badge activities, and conduct routine patrols to help reduce security-related incidents. PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response actions at a chemical and petrochemical location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization for employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries, and document access activity according to site protocols. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual conditions and reporting security-related concerns. Support vehicle and material screening processes, maintain required logs and reports, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.

Minimum Requirements:

Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet. A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
