As a Security Officer, you will be the first line of defense, monitoring premises, managing access points, and responding swiftly to incidents. Your dedication will help create a secure space where everyone can thrive with confidence and peace of mind. Duties Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches. Control access to the premises by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Conduct regular patrols of the facility to identify potential security risks or safety hazards. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including providing first aid or CPR when necessary. Manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact, ensuring safety for all parties involved. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents or investigations. Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incident reports, and shift documentation to ensure accountability. Skills Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques and CCTV operation. Certified in first aid and CPR to provide immediate assistance during medical emergencies. Experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles demonstrating discipline and situational awareness. Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively. Familiarity with loss prevention strategies to deter theft and protect assets. Ability to quickly assess situations and make sound decisions under pressure. Knowledge of security protocols, emergency procedures, and legal regulations relevant to security operations.
