Responsibilities Monitor premises using CCTV systems and conduct regular surveillance to detect suspicious activity or security breaches. Control access points by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors to prevent unauthorized entry. Respond swiftly to incidents or emergencies by applying conflict management techniques and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary. Conduct routine patrols of the facility to identify potential hazards, security vulnerabilities, or safety violations. Perform first aid and CPR when needed to provide immediate assistance during medical emergencies. Implement loss prevention strategies by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting suspicious behavior promptly. Maintain detailed records of incidents, patrols, access logs, and other security-related activities to ensure accurate documentation. Skills Strong knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV operation and monitoring techniques. Experience in law enforcement, military service, or security roles demonstrating discipline and situational awareness. Certification in first aid and CPR to respond effectively during medical emergencies. Excellent conflict management skills for de-escalating tense situations calmly and professionally. Familiarity with loss prevention methods to protect company assets effectively. Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion while maintaining a professional demeanor. Knowledge of security procedures, including access control protocols and emergency response plans.
