Overnight Shifts Position Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Security Officer to join our team in Vernon, TX. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment through active patrol, strong customer service, and vigilance during overnight hours. Key Responsibilities Conduct regular walking patrols to monitor premises and ensure safety and security Observe and report any suspicious activities, safety hazards, or incidents Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors Maintain a strong sense of attention to detail when monitoring the environment Complete required logs, reports, and documentation accurately and promptly Respond to emergencies and follow established protocols as needed Enforce company policies and site-specific procedures Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older Valid Driver's License required OSHA 10 Certification (required prior to hire) Prior security experience preferred but not required Strong interpersonal and people skills Ability to remain alert and attentive during overnight hours Skills & Abilities Strong customer service orientation Excellent communication skills High level of attention to detail Ability to work independently and make sound decisions Reliable and dependable work ethic Physical Requirements Ability to perform walking patrols for extended periods Capability to stand, walk, and remain active throughout the shift Why Join Us Competitive pay at $21/hour Opportunity to work in a professional and team-oriented environment Gain experience in safety, security, and customer service roles All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, status as a protected veteran, or any other applicable legally protected characteristic."
