Waco, TX Job Details Part-time $20 - $27 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Customer service Writing skills Driver's License Armed Security License Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a professional and dependable Level III Commissioned (Armed) Security Officer to provide overnight security at a restaurant in Waco, Texas. Candidates must be alert, customer-service oriented, and capable of handling difficult situations with professionalism while maintaining a safe environment for staff and guests. Responsibilities Conduct continuous foot patrols inside and outside the restaurant. Maintain a visible security presence to deter criminal activity and disturbances. Monitor the property for suspicious activity, safety hazards, and policy violations. Respond promptly to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies. De-escalate conflicts using effective communication and professional judgment. Remove and trespass aggressive, disorderly, or unauthorized individuals from the property when necessary. Complete detailed incident and activity reports before the end of each shift. Coordinate with local law enforcement when required. Ensure the safety of employees, customers, and company property. Minimum Qualifications Current Texas Level III (Commissioned) Security Officer License (Required). Valid Texas Driver's License. Reliable transportation. Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during overnight shifts. Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills. Professional appearance and demeanor. Ability to pass a background check and any applicable pre-employment screening. Preferred Qualifications Previous armed security, law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
