Job Overview We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Armed Security Officer to safeguard our premises, personnel, and assets. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through active surveillance, access control, and emergency response procedures. Your expertise in law enforcement, security protocols, and conflict management will ensure the safety of all individuals on site. Duties Conduct thorough surveillance using CCTV systems and manual patrols to monitor premises continuously. Control access points utilizing advanced access control systems to verify authorized personnel, visitors, and contractors. Perform regular patrols of the facility, including heavy lifting and physical security checks to deter unauthorized activity. Respond promptly to emergencies by executing fire safety procedures, AED operation, CPR, Taser deployment, and other emergency response protocols. Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or suspicious activities with clarity and accuracy. Manage conflict de-escalation techniques and conflict management strategies to resolve disputes peacefully. Perform background checks on new employees or visitors as part of compliance with security regulations. Skills Extensive experience with surveillance technology such as CCTV and access control systems. Strong background in law enforcement or military service with knowledge of security operations. Certified in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and Taser use for emergency preparedness. Proficient in manual handling, heavy lifting, and performing physical security tasks safely. Skilled in incident report writing with attention to detail and transparency. Knowledge of fire safety procedures and emergency response protocols. Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to manage conflicts effectively and professionally.
