Job Description

GardaWorld Security Services U.S. seeks Armed Security Officers - Response to protect client sites in high-activity environments. Responsibilities include rapid response to alarms and incidents, conducting patrols, controlling access, and monitoring for threats or suspicious activity. Officers will enforce site policies, write clear incident and activity reports, and interact professionally with clients, employees, and the public. This role requires strict adherence to safety procedures, weapons handling protocols, and legal standards. Extensive training, advancement opportunities, and diverse assignments across commercial, industrial, and government sites are available. Responsibilities Respond rapidly to alarms, incidents, and calls for service at client sites Conduct vehicle and foot patrols to deter and detect suspicious activity Perform access control, ID verification, and visitor management Monitor premises via patrols and surveillance systems Enforce client policies, post orders, and safety procedures Prepare clear, accurate incident and daily activity reports Communicate effectively via radio, phone, and in person with supervisors, clients, and public Safely carry, handle, and operate assigned firearms in compliance with law and company policy Assist in emergencies, including evacuations, medical incidents, and disturbances Maintain professional appearance, demeanor, and customer service standards Required Skills Armed security operations Emergency response Access control Patrol procedures Incident reporting CCTV and surveillance monitoring De-escalation techniques Radio communication Report writing Basic computer literacy
