Overnight Event Security Officer Compensation:
$20/hr
Schedule:
Thursday
  • Friday and Sunday:
    8:30 PM
  • 6:30 AM OR Monday
  • Wednesday:
    8:30 PM
  • 6:30 AM Dates are 8/2/2026-8/22/2026 We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer
  • Site Lead to join our team.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively monitor premises, prevent loss, and respond to emergencies while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. Duties Ensure all officers on site understand the post orders and foot patrols. Work well with the community to provide a positive collaboration with security. Monitor and patrol on foot assigned areas (throughout the building, stairwells and community rooms) to ensure the safety and security of the premises. Prepare detailed reports when conducting hourly foot patrol rounds on incidents, observations, and any unusual occurrences. Ensure there is no illegal activity on the premises, conduct ban & bars, trespass warnings, and uphold 10:00PM curfew. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies. Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor during conflict management situations. Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to ensure safety protocols are followed. Attend on-site training for full understanding of post orders.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age Must have an active Utah Guard Card Must be able to maintain site-specific security orders Must be able to pass a background check & drug test Must have a working and functional smartphone with data to conduct reports Must own personal transportation or have reliable transportation to get to and from work
Education:
High school diploma or GED is required
Pay:
$20.00 per hour
