PM How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:

In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location. Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries at designated access points while following established security-related policies and entry requirements. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate site contacts when needed. Monitor entrances, screening equipment, and/or credential checks to help support authorized access and help to deter unauthorized activity. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with duties and working conditions varying by location.

Minimum Requirements:

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
