Overview Join our dynamic security team as an Unarmed Security Guard and play a vital role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment. In this energetic position, you will be the first line of defense, ensuring the safety of people and property through vigilant observation, proactive engagement, and excellent communication. Your dedication will help foster a secure atmosphere where everyone feels protected and valued. Duties Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify potential security risks or hazards. Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, contacting law enforcement when necessary. Enforce loss prevention strategies by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting any suspicious behavior. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping. Qualifications Certification in DCJS registration for unarmed security is preferred; willingness to obtain these certifications is required if not already held. Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail during patrols and monitoring activities. Ability to remain calm under pressure while responding effectively to emergencies or conflicts. Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with colleagues, visitors, and emergency responders. Must have a driver's license and a reliable vehicle. Officers will remain in their vehicles for this site.
