Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Incident Response in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while following site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Screen individuals and belongings entering government facilities in accordance with established access-control procedures and applicable requirements.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required reports.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
Maintain readiness and responsible control of assigned equipment, including authorized firearms, while complying with Allied Universal policies and site requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
