As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Incident Detection in Petersburg, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond with professionalism and care. You will support patients, visitors, and staff through exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to Allied Universal's caring culture through teamwork, reliability, agility, innovation, and integrity.

PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and healthcare staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response protocols when appropriate. Respond to incidents, critical situations, and requests for assistance in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, and the perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations. Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry while maintaining a courteous and welcoming presence. Document patrol activity and incidents accurately, and promptly communicate concerns to healthcare personnel and/or emergency responders.
Minimum Requirements:
Be at least 21 years of age. Possession of a Guard Card/License is preferred. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
