Aug 20, 2026 Job Description The Mount Anthony Union Middle School is seeking an applicant for the position of Campus Safety Officer. The primary role is to provide a safe and secure environment for all staff, faculty, and students, by enforcing school policies and Vermont statutes. The Campus Safety Officer is a member of the Security Management Team, a unit working together to promote building relationships with faculty, students, and staff.
Responsibilities Include:
Provide a safe and positive environment to students and staff Serve as a liaison for security issues to local law enforcement agencies and to the State's Attorney's office Assist in the development, implementation, review and practice of campus lockdown policy Act as emergency preparedness coordinator to Assist with evacuations and fire drills Coordinate campus security for school related extra - curricular activities Assist with grant applications that pertain to campus security Attend extracurricular activities as needed and assigned by the principal Attend training as required. Support the value of education and the philosophy and mission of the District. Participate in department, office and district(s) meetings, as necessary, and attend other meetings, such as seminars. Adhere to all District policies and regulations. Any other related duties as they should arise from time to time as assigned by the Principal.
