A Security Officer provides security for property at hospitals, hotels, warehouses or office buildings. Monitors entrances and patrols buildings, watches for intruders or vandals; reports building maintenance problems; deals with customers or visitors that create a disturbance in the building.
Be at least 18 years of age Have a clean criminal record and pass a background check possess a valid drivers license ability to obtain a Washington State Security License (www.dol.wa.gov/business/securityguards/) We are seeking a detail-oriented professional unarmed security officer with experience. Desirable qualities are someone who is comfortable working as a security screener, you are responsible for the security and order of buildings, grounds, or property. You will patrol assigned areas controlling access to the area assigned. Daily interactions with public and enforcing client policy.

Screening with a metal detector Patrolling/monitoring properties, Providing an exceptional customer experience by communicating with public, Enforcing site-specific directives, Coordinating with law enforcement when needed, Maintaining high visibility and attentiveness to details. problem solving and de-escalation and screen public with metal detector.
Qualifications:
This position will require regular physical activity, including standing, walking, climbing stairs, and inclines. Qualified candidates have at least a high school diploma or GED, and a clear criminal record over the past 7 years. Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow, or heat, Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds, Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift, Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods.
