In addition to our market, we operate a full-service caf, bakery, and meat department, preparing fresh Ukrainian dishes, pastries, and specialty meats daily. Our mission is to create a warm, authentic, and memorable experience for every guest. We are currently seeking a professional, observant, and dependable Security Guard to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is attentive, calm under pressure, and committed to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for our customers and staff. What You'll Do Monitor store premises to ensure the safety of customers, employees, and property Provide a visible security presence and help prevent theft, vandalism, and safety incidents Patrol the sales floor, entrances, exits, and parking areas Respond quickly and calmly to incidents or emergencies Assist with de-escalating conflicts and handling difficult situations professionally Write clear and accurate incident reports when necessary Collaborate with management and team members to maintain a safe workplace Enforce store policies and safety procedures

Work Schedule:

Thu-Sat 1:30 PM - 12:30 AM (1-hour lunch break)

PayCompensation:

$22-25 per hour , depending on experience Benefits 1 paid hour of sick leave for every 40 hours worked Medical insurance - 75% company-paid coverage for employee (for full-time employees) Paid vacation: 1 week after 1 year of employment 2 weeks after 2 years Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of security or loss prevention experience required Strong observation and problem-solving skills Ability to stay calm and professional in stressful situations Good communication and conflict resolution skills Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Reliability, punctuality, and strong sense of responsibility Valid Washington State Security Guard License (or ability to obtain) preferred Experience in retail or grocery environment is a plus
