Job Description As a Security Officer Driver Area Inspection in Lakewood, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location. This primarily driving role involves conducting routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observing and reporting concerns, and providing outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and the public while demonstrating our agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

PM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to transit passengers, visitors, and personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, surrounding property, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established response and notification procedures.

Observe and report access concerns, property conditions, maintenance issues, and potential hazards to appropriate personnel.

Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and maintain professional communication with site representatives, transit staff, and responding public agencies.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least one year of security-related experience.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Baton certification is preferred.

CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
