Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related concerns. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through proper site communication channels. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail common areas, storefront perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned parts of the location to help to deter unwanted activity. Monitor access points, observe customer and visitor activity, and support with de-escalation, directional assistance, and other security-related concerns as needed. Document routine activities, unusual conditions, and incident information, and communicate with site contacts and/or local responders when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
