We are looking for a Security Driver who can safely operate vehicles while maintaining constant awareness of their surroundings to ensure the safety and security of staff, clients, and property. The ideal candidate must follow established driving routes and security protocols, respond effectively to safety incidents, and exercise good judgment, conflict resolution, and critical thinking in potentially high-risk situations. Strong communication skills and adherence to safety standards are essential. We currently have one position available in
Yakima:
Monday-Friday 6:00AM - 3:00PM Duties may include: Safely operates the vehicle to designated locations in a variety of traffic, road, weather, and daylight conditions. Follows assigned driving routes and adheres to assigned schedules. Conducts routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure that it is operating safely and properly. Remains alert and aware of surroundings. Monitors the overall safety and security of surroundings. Monitors for unusual activity and situations that pose a potential safety risk. Maintains security of the surrounding areas. Communicates clearly and professionally with clients and general public. Operates under security protocols and procedures to ensure safety of staff and security of property. Ensures that safety protocols are followed. Effectively responds to safety issues or incident that arise. Deters potential negative incidents by deescalating situations and applies conflict resolution and critical thinking skills appropriately. Escorts the transport of supplies to and from locations. Restricts access of vehicle to only authorized individuals. When not driving, works as part of the maintenance team.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent and related experience Must have a clean driving record of at least the past five years. Must have valid driver's license and vehicle liability insurance In compliance with state and federal law, Comprehensive Healthcare requires all candidates to complete a post-offer, pre-employment drug screen and background check.
