The opportunity Delaware North Gaming is hiring full-time and part-time Security Officers to join our team at Mardi Gras Casino in Cross Lanes, West Virginia. What will you do? Ensure that identification is checked for proper admittance to the gaming floor Conduct cash escorts as required Observe, handle, and report procedural violations and illegal activity Operate a motorized vehicle when necessary Maintain crowd control as required Defuse guest profanity and handle issues or complaints professionally More about you High School Diploma or GED Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Hold and maintain a valid driver's license, pass a motor vehicle record check, and drug test Must be able to be licensed by State Gaming Commission Ability to defuse difficult and sometimes emotionally charged situations when handling guest issues or complaints Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times Physical requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time Ability to communicate through two way radio Bending, stooping, lifting and carrying occasionally Vision sufficient to perform duties day or night Exposure to an occasionally smoky and loud environment Shift details
