Security Guard (Property Maintenance Specialist) Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Ability to interact with others Patrol industrial and commercial subsidiary company locations of ACNR, Inc. to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and theft Ensure security of doors, windows, and gates Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises Answer alarms and investigate disturbances May also be assigned to various locations including the main gate area Experience Up to one (1) year security experience Job Requirements Must be 18 years of age High School Diploma or GED, preferred Valid driver's license and clean driving record Reliable transportation Regular and punctual attendance Effective communication is required Must be able to work safely and effectively as part of a team or independently Must be able to successfully pass a post offer drug test and background check Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship Job Schedule and Physical Demands Must be able to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed or as schedule requires (subject to applicant's religious practices) Must be able to work a rotating shift schedule on a 24/7 basis (subject to the applicant's religious practices) Ability/willingness to work any shift assigned Ability to lift floor-to-waist and waist-to-overhead Ability to push/pull as needed Standing, bending, step climbing, crawling and working overhead Ability to perform heavy labor and lift 50+ pounds as needed
