Injunction Investigator, Labour Disruptions throughout Ontario Corporate Investigation Services - 4.1 Ontario, CA Job Details Full-time $30.34 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Report writing Investigations regulatory compliance English Driver's License Private Investigator License Driving Full Job Description We are currently recruiting experienced and professional Injunction Investigators for upcoming labour disruption assignments across Ontario. This role is ideal for individuals who are adaptable, capable of working independently, and comfortable operating in dynamic environments. Responsibilities include video documentation, evidence collection, detailed report writing, and supporting injunction enforcement efforts during active labour disputes. Important Employment Information This is a project-based position tied directly to labour disruptions and strike activity. Assignments begin when a strike or labour disruption starts and continue until the dispute ends. The duration of each project can vary significantly, and there is no guaranteed end date at the outset of an assignment. While projects typically involve substantial hours and extended schedules, work concludes when the strike concludes, with future opportunities becoming available as new projects arise.
Candidates must be prepared for:
Extended deployments away from home Short-notice travel throughout Ontario Long working hours, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays Assignments lasting a minimum of 4 weeks, with potential for longer durations depending on the dispute Duties & Responsibilities Conduct video surveillance and evidence gathering related to court injunctions Operate video recording equipment professionally and accurately Prepare detailed reports and evidentiary documentation Maintain professionalism in high-pressure and potentially confrontational environments Work independently and collaboratively within a team setting Interact respectfully with clients, workers, and members of the public Qualifications & Requirements Valid Ontario Private Investigator Licence or Dual Licence Valid Ontario Class G Driver's Licence Ability and willingness to travel across Ontario on short notice Ability to work 12-hour shifts for extended periods Strong written and verbal English communication skills Advanced report writing and video documentation abilities Ability to sit, stand, walk, or drive for extended periods Familiarity with Ontario court injunction processes and evidentiary requirements is considered a strong asset Previous strike security or labour dispute experience is an asset Post-secondary education in a security-related field is considered an asset
