Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. Duties Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security of the premises. Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activities. Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, providing first aid or CPR as necessary. Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when needed for investigations or incidents. Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations. Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or security breaches. Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and observations for management review. Experience Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with surveillance equipment and loss prevention techniques is advantageous. Military experience is a plus, showcasing discipline and commitment to safety protocols. Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
