Surveillance Officer Position:
Surveillance Officer Reports to: Lead Surveillance The Surveillance Officer protects company assets and possesses knowledge of clandestine surveillance operations.
Function and responsibilities:
Maintains surveillance on designated areas and activities. Records and reports daily any irregular and/or illegal gaming activity. Operates all surveillance equipment including but not limited to computer monitors, controllers and cameras as assigned. Provides CCTV and personal observations of all departments and applicable job functions to assure that all company policies and procedures are met with compliance. Daily log any equipment in need of repair and pass on information to the Surveillance Tech. Consistently adheres to and supports departmental policies on conflict of interest and confidentiality. Communicates effectively intra/extra departmentally. Immediately acknowledges an officer in need of help. Meets attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies. Maintain all required daily logs. After 90 Day Probationary Period Broad knowledge of casino rules, procedures and administration. Familiarity with camera equipment and method of operation and recording. Knowledge of identification of cheating methods and other related activities.

Must be a least 21 years of age. High School diploma or GED required. Must be able to pass an extensive background check to obtain a Category I license. Must be willing to work any shift, weekends, holidays and overtime. Must be available to be on call. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must work well in close proximity with others. Professional appearance. Native American preference.
