Team members begin accruing PTO starting on day one, and full ‑ time employees are eligible for benefits after 90 days. This role puts you right in the middle of the action, where you get to uncover what's happening across the entire property and help keep the casino running safely and smoothly. Every shift feels like a high‑stakes mission as you monitor games, guests, and employees, mastering surveillance technology and spotting anything out of the ordinary. You'll dive into real investigations, work with law enforcement, review footage, and learn the ins and outs of every table game and compliance rule. If you love fast‑paced environments, sharp observation, and the thrill of protecting a major entertainment hub, this job delivers excitement every single day. Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance; arrives on time in a clean uniform with required name tag, ID, and licenses, ready to work with a positive, ready ‑ to ‑ learn attitude. Greets guests and team members warmly and professionally, supporting our Family Style Service culture. Works a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Conducts clandestine surveillance of all operations in and around the property. Observes and reports. Responsible for observing all games, guests, and employees to protect assets of the company. Monitors casino floor and support facilities to ensure the safety of Harrah's guests, employees and property. Learns rules of all table games offered as well as various departmental MICS, ICS and CSRs. Conduct extensive reviews and compile video to ensure compliance of Title 31 and AML policies. Conduct extensive investigations and compiling video for various local, state and federal law enforcement agencies. Enter and retrieve information from computer databases to utilize such information for Surveillance activities. Records any irregular gaming activity. Check all cameras and Surveillance equipment to ensure proper effectiveness in Surveillance activities. Operates all surveillance equipment, including, but not limited to
VCRS, DVD
players, monitors, switches, computers, controllers, and cameras as assigned. Provides closed circuit television and personal observations of all departments and applicable job functions to ensure that all company policies and procedures are met with compliance. Adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies in an ethical manner. Surveillance staff is prohibited from transferring to certain positions on the casino floor at Harrah's NKC once they work in surveillance. Must be at least 21 yrs. of age. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Must be able to obtain Missouri Gaming License. Must pass background check. Ability to read, write, and understand English. Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business. Communicates effectively and maintains positive working relationships with guests, coworkers, and management. Must pass the required preemployment urinalysis Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential. Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends. Must have excellent customer service/communication skills. Knowledgeable in data entry, read and interpret output from a computer. Broad knowledge of games and casino rules, procedures and administration. Familiar with camera equipment and those methods of operation and recording is preferred.
