Mission Possible Investigations, LLC is a New York based private investigative firm seeking several experienced and detail-oriented investigators for a unique opportunity specifically related to surveillance and insurance fraud investigations / workers compensation investigations. The majority of the work is surveillance related, which can include workman's comp Investigations, child custody investigations, and cheating spouse investigations. Candidates must have flexibility in their schedules and able to work independently weekdays, weekends and evening hours. Surveillance can require very early hours and long days. Candidates must be self-motivated, have strong work ethics, have good problem-solving skills, strong communication skills and ability to write detailed reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage various investigative caseloads Utilize surveillance equipment including photography and video to obtain evidence for court purposes Utilize surveillance techniques to obtain information for court proceedings Work with other investigators and managers developing strategies for gathering intelligence Prepare final reports of findings of an investigation including a summary of investigation and recommendations for additional work

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

Criminal Justice Degree preferred, but not required Experience within the insurance fraud investigations or workman's comp investigations Experience with surveillance investigations and techniques. Ability to be organized and to prioritize assignments Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner and work independently Ability to brainstorm and work through complex issues and assignments Strong writing and interpersonal communication skills Ability to work under pressure Proficient computer skills including word processing Ability to take direction and work closely with supervisor Must be motivated and possess a strong work ethic Accurate, grammatically correct editing skills Employment contingent upon completion of a background check consistent with applicable federal, state and local laws.
