POSITION SUMMARY
- The incumbent is responsible for performing surveillance duties to ensure state and federal gaming laws and policies and procedures are being maintained in games, cashiers and count rooms; in addition provides security for VLT equipment; monitors jackpot and floor fill data into the SIS Computer; performs surveillance of the gaming floor, parking lot, parking garage, back-of-the-house areas, outbuildings and shops by means of complex electronic and video equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- (These functions are intended as a general illustration of the work performed in this job classification and are not all inclusive for this position) Delivers superior internal and external guest service the Boyd Gaming Way and works harmoniously with fellow team members.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Effective mathematics and communication skills. Must be able to obtain and maintain all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations. Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older. These skills are typically acquired through a high school education or equivalent and two months of on-the-job training or through closely related experience.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
(Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.):- Ability to maintain all Regulatory licenses within assigned state of employment Must successfully pass background check Must successfully pass an alcohol and drug screening
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
- This position is required to spend majority of shifts in a small enclosed work area.
