Schedule:

10 hour shifts 9:00pm-7:00am or 10:00pm-8:00am shifts

Loss Prevention Night Officer Responsibilities:

The Loss Prevention Night Officer's primary responsibility is to respond efficiently and appropriately to a wide-range of calls from alarm companies and Discount Drug Mart employees seeking assistance. Night Officers will have an interest in protecting both human and retail assets, investigations, critical thinking and working in a team and individual capacity. Each Night Officer must maintain a high degree of integrity and professionalism while working with all employees, guests, vendors and emergency services. A successful Loss Prevention Night Officer will: Answer, evaluate and respond to phone calls during non-business hours Be able to multitask using a variety of resources to make critical decisions Must be able to evaluate circumstances and make timely decisions under pressure Remain alert and focused while working independently Be able to conduct simple to moderately-complex investigations using surveillance video and report findings to investigators Maintains several critical databases for department Demonstrate and maintain a high level of confidentiality due to the sensitive nature of material and information trusted within the department Be able to perform store audits in conjunction with the auditing department Be able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management Identify and report internal and external theft

Minimum Qualifications:
