Job Description

Cherokee Casino West Siloam Springs is seeking a dedicated Surveillance Agent to play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of casino operations and ensuring a safe environment. This position involves continuous monitoring of casino activity, identifying potential violations or security concerns, and collaborating with other departments to investigate and resolve incidents. 12 college credit hours and completion of Composition 1 (or equivalent combination of education and experience). 6 months of related work experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience). Proficient written and spoken English. Excellent report writing skills. Proficient operation of phone systems, office equipment, computers, and basic software (Microsoft Office Suite, etc.). Excellent attention to detail. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to perform repetitive tasks. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to obtain and maintain required gaming licenses. Valid driver's license. Ability to sit for extended periods with occasional standing and walking. Ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all relevant federal, state, and tribal gaming regulations, policies, and procedures, including Title 31 (Bank Secrecy Act) rules. Proactively monitor all casino areas and personnel, including, but not limited to, Table Games, Casino Cage, Soft Count, Slots, and Poker to promote accountability with policies and procedures, identify suspicious activity, and deter fraud and theft. Operate various closed-circuit television (CCTV) technology to monitor and review casino activities, archive audio and video evidence, and monitor the system for malfunctions. Proactively observe and review videos, then complete required documentation regarding specific incidents, including but not limited to guest complaints, procedure errors, risk management issues, player evaluations, theft, and variances. Monitor casino radio traffic and respond as needed. Collaborate and cooperate with Loss Prevention, Internal Audit, CNGC, local Gaming Authority, law enforcement agencies, and other departments on investigations. Identify trends and abnormalities by reviewing data through various software applications and investigating anomalies. Maintain logs of daily activities, video reviews, equipment malfunctions, and other relevant information. Operate the computerized report management system for inputting, accessing, updating, and printing reports. Maintain proper chain of custody for video evidence and reports. Testify or attest to the accuracy of reports and video evidence as required. Ensure surveillance equipment is operating correctly and perform regular checks and logs. Maintain strict confidentiality of Surveillance operations, any non-public information learned as an employee, and adhere to standards of conduct.
