AM What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and families while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate for an educational location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access or unusual conditions to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
