Job Description We are an MRO/TPA for many companies throughout the country. We are currently seeking a Bilingual Physician/Medical Review Officer for per diem/PRN work. Responsibilities Receive and review laboratory drug test results and assesses medical explanations for certain test results. Contact donors who have non-negative non-DOT drug test results and communicate with the donor to determine if a prescription medication has caused the results. Follow up with the donor to obtain documentation. After documentation has been reviewed report the results to the company. Required Skills Bilingual in Spanish required (ability to speak, read, and translate) Comprehension of DOT regulations and ability to handle laboratory positives, substituted, adulterated, rejected or invalid drug screen interpretations. Must be detail oriented and able to use a computer along with MS office. Must be able to maintain confidential information and follow procedures for work processing. Able to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail. Must be able to listen well and follow directions precisely. Must have excellent follow up skills, be able to work independently, and have a professional demeanor with customer service skills. Must be highly motivated and have excellent written and communication skills. A valid MRO Certification is a must. Education The candidate we are seeking must be a licensed physician with current medical license. Benefits This is a contracted position.
