Duties Operate and monitor CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) systems to oversee all areas of the facility, ensuring continuous surveillance coverage. Conduct regular visual inspections of security cameras, fences, and entry points to verify system functionality and identify potential security breaches. Respond promptly to security alerts or suspicious activities detected through surveillance footage or alarm systems. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents, providing critical information and support as needed. Maintain detailed logs of surveillance activities, incidents, and access records to ensure accurate documentation for future reference. Assist in loss prevention efforts by monitoring for theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access, and reporting findings accordingly. Support conflict management by de-escalating situations when necessary and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Skills Proven experience with CCTV systems, surveillance techniques, and security operations. Knowledge of law enforcement procedures, conflict management strategies, and loss prevention practices. Ability to perform first aid and CPR to assist in medical emergencies if required. Familiarity with security protocols related to access control, perimeter checks, and emergency response procedures. Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail during long shifts monitoring multiple camera feeds. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with emergency responders, law enforcement, and team members. Background in military or law enforcement service is a plus, demonstrating discipline and situational awareness.
