Overview Join our dynamic security team as a Security Camera Operator, where your keen eye and proactive approach will be vital in safeguarding our facilities. In this role, you will monitor and manage surveillance systems to ensure a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets. Your expertise in CCTV operation, surveillance techniques, and communication will help prevent loss, detect suspicious activity, and support overall safety initiatives. Duties Operate and oversee CCTV surveillance systems to monitor multiple areas continuously for unusual or suspicious activity Conduct routine visual inspections of security cameras, ensuring all equipment functions correctly and footage is clear and accessible Respond promptly to security alerts or incidents by analyzing camera feeds and coordinating appropriate actions with security personnel or law enforcement if necessary Maintain detailed logs of surveillance activity, incidents, and system maintenance for accurate record-keeping Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or vandalism through vigilant monitoring Communicate effectively with security teams, law enforcement, and other stakeholders to relay critical information during incidents or emergencies Support dispatching duties by providing real-time updates on security situations and coordinating responses efficiently Skills Strong understanding of CCTV systems, surveillance techniques, and security protocols Excellent communication skills to clearly convey information and coordinate with team members and authorities Experience in law enforcement or security roles is highly desirable Ability to write clear, detailed reports documenting incidents or observations Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and conflict management skills to handle tense situations professionally Familiarity with dispatching procedures for effective emergency response coordination Attention to detail with a proactive mindset for maintaining equipment functionality and surveillance accuracy Join us in creating a safer environment where vigilance meets professionalism!
