Carrus Behavioral Hospital is a new, state-of-the-art, 28-bed child and adolescent behavioral facility. We provide 24-hour inpatient behavioral care for patients ages 5 through 17 who require a safe and therapeutic environment. Our multidisciplinary team, led by a board-certified psychiatrist, provides evidence-based therapies tailored to the needs of each child, adolescent, and family, and our effective management teams ensure that the hospital runs smoothly and that every patient leaves satisfied.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsible for providing protective, investigative, and informational services for patients, visitors, medical staff, and employees. Safeguards facility property. Maintains a safe environment by performing patrols, surveillances, inspections, investigations, follow-ups, and documentation of activities. Reports to work in a timely manner and adheres to policies, procedures, and processes. Performs other job duties as needed and/or as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Requires high school diploma or equivalent. Requires minimum one year of previous safety officer experience. Must be able to effectively communicate in English via verbal and written means.
LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION
De-escalation training is required within 30 days of hire.
