Lawn Maintenance Crew Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Crew Leader(shrub/flower bed specialist) to join our team. As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for supervising a crew of landscapers and ensuring the successful completion of various groundskeeping projects. Your leadership skills and expertise in lawn care and landscape maintenance will contribute to the overall success of our team.

Duties:

• Supervise and lead a crew of landscapers in performing various landscaping tasks, including lawn care, groundskeeping, garden maintenance.
• Plan and prioritize daily tasks for the crew members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.
• Provide guidance and training to crew members on proper techniques and safety procedures.
• Monitor the quality of work performed by the crew to ensure adherence to company standards.
• Maintain equipment and tools used by the crew, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their specific landscaping needs and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Assist with landscape design and installation projects as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous three to five years experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or related field.
• Previous experience should include managing a crew of six or more employees.
• Previous experience in pruning, and bed maintenance.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team.
• Knowledge of landscaping techniques, including planting, pruning, fertilizing, and irrigation.
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and crew members.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
