Duties Operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power tools to ensure pristine landscapes Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and pest control treatments safely and effectively to promote healthy growth and protect against pests Use hand tools and equipment to perform planting, trimming, edging, and soil preparation tasks Drive company vehicles to various job sites while adhering to safety protocols Assist with landscape design projects by planting shrubs, flowers, and trees according to specifications Conduct routine inspections of lawns and gardens to identify issues needing attention or treatment Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and treatments applied Qualifications Prior experience or knowledge in lawn care, landscaping, farming, or agriculture is highly desirable Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and landscaping equipment Ability to operate vehicles safely and responsibly; a valid driver's license is required Strong physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to pest control and lawn maintenance tasks Willingness to learn new skills related to sales techniques for recommending services or products when appropriate Basic understanding of safety procedures when handling chemicals or operating machinery This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their expertise in outdoor maintenance while contributing to vibrant landscapes.
