Thrive HCR is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery / Mother Baby night shift opportunity in beautiful Marshall, Michigan! Join a highly respected Trauma Level III facility where compassionate patient care and teamwork are top priorities. Position Highlights Night Shift 36 hours per week Trauma Level III Facility 78-bed state-of-the-art hospital Cerner EMR Birth Center delivers over 800 babies annually Unit includes: 11 LDRP Rooms 3 Triage Rooms 1 OR RN Responsibilities Provide professional nursing care focused on the comfort and well-being of patients using critical thinking and independent judgment Utilize all phases of the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation Supervise and direct patient care team members including CNAs, LPNs, and techs Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes Accurately document patient care, conditions, treatment responses, and progress in a timely manner Patient Ratios 1:1 Active Labor, Magnesium Sulfate, and Pitocin Induction 1:2 Early Labor Patients 1:3 Couplets RequirementsRequired Active Michigan RN License Minimum 2 years current Birthing Center experience Experience with: Laboring patients Delivery/newborn care at delivery Postpartum care for moms and babies BLS Certification (AHA) Preferred Prior travel experience NRP Certification Candidates without active NRP may still be considered if willing to obtain certification Why Work in Marshall, Michigan?
