Lead Alarm Service Technician

Service Technician - experienced Best Defense Fire Protection and Security is seeking to add another skilled alarm service technician. Applicants must have a minimum of three year's alarm installation, programming, and troubleshooting experience.

Job duties include:

• Report to service manager
• Repair of existing fire alarm and / or security system, cctv, and access control products
• Follow up with customers on repairs
• Proper completion of paperwork and electronic forms Skills required include:
• Skilled programmer of security panels, IP CCTV, and access control.
• Ability to program and provide basic troubleshooting on IP based products such as IP Video and access control
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Electronics knowledge
• Strong PC skills
• Customer service and communications skills
• Organizational skills to insure paperwork and electronic forms are properly completed, signed, and filed.
• Ability to learn new products
• Attention to detail. Service Department shall leave every system better than when they arrived.
