THIS IS A FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
Level 2 Certified position designated as such in accordance with the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, section 1051, amending 10 United States Code, section 1599d. Incumbent of this position is required to comply with all Department of Defense requirements of this certification program. This certification requirement is a condition of employment for this position. Failure to obtain this certification within the required time may subject the incumbent to adverse action.Qualifications Who May Apply:

Your resume must describe at least one year specialized experience which prepared you to do the work in this job.Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes work that involves 1)Reviewing and reporting budget formulation and execution activities for reimbursable and/or overhead programs with multi-million-dollar annual value; AND 2) Mentoring budget analysts in developing and interpreting budgetary and fiscal guidance or processes. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-12. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Control of Funds Federal Funds Processing Manages and Organizes Information Planning and Evaluating Time inGrade Requirement:
Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent GS-12. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Additional information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. This position requires a 1 year probationary period during which the agency evaluates your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest. The U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (YPG) is the Army's premier test center, featuring the longest overland artillery range in the nation. YPG conducts developmental testing on nearly every piece of equipment in the ground combat arsenal and is at the forefront of the Army's modernization efforts. The proving ground plays a critical role in developing the Army's future force by supporting the Army's modernization priorities. YPG is a key site for demonstrating advanced capabilities and informing the Army's transformation. As part of the U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command (ATEC), YPG is instrumental in shaping the future of the force under the new Transformation and Training Command (T2COM). YPG manages test operations at three locations: Yuma Test Center in Yuma, Arizona; Arctics Regions Test Center at Fort Greely, Alaska; and Tropic Regions Test Center on leased land at multiple locations in Central and South America.
