Job Description

Prior dental experience is NOT required. Georgia Dental Studio, the private practice of Dr. Cody Albergotti, Dr. Chad Till, and their remarkable team, is seeking a dynamic lead front office team member to, after training, work closely with the doctors, long-time manager Jennifer, and rocking administrative team to manage, oversee, and contribute to the administrative operations of our highly reputable practice. Our expansive group produces 5-star service by valuing quality relationships and excellent performance in all we do. An enjoyable variety of tasks makes a workday go by fast! After training, your day will include: Providing leadership as the "air traffic controller" of our 6-member rocking administrative team.
Scheduling:
crafting a busy and ideally scheduled day for our hygienists and doctors. If you enjoy puzzles like Tetris, you'll love our scheduling system!
Patient check-in procedures:
dishing out Georgia Dental Studio hospitality while updating registration and notifying the clinical team of the patient's arrival. Attending to any patient questions regarding financial costs of recommended treatment.
Onboarding new patients:
sharing first visit information and providing information to turn an ordinary call into an extraordinarily positive patient experience. Cross-training into the role of
Treatment Coordinator:
learning the patient's issues, doctor treatment recommendations, discussing treatment, educating, discussing financial investment, and scheduling the next appointment. Documenting patient conversations in the chart to keep team members "in the know." Answering the phone, attending to questions, and directing calls. Partner with Manager Jennifer for administrative team performance and coaching reviews. Working closely with all team members so that patients and co-workers all have an amazing, smooth-sailing day!
DENTAL EXPERIENCE IS NICE, BUT NOT REQUIRED.
No doubt, prior dental experience is helpful to scale the learning curve, but it is not necessary to master this rewarding role. We value "the right person," and many of our current team members gained their knowledge, skills, and certifications "on-the-job" through their excellent comprehension and dedicated commitment to learn. Individuals with successful careers in business administration and face-to-face communications with customers/clients/patients will enjoy driving their skills into a profession that makes a measurable and positive impact every day in the lives of others. Qualified candidates must have:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university. Those who do not possess a BA or BS will be considered if prior work experience has provided an equivalent foundation for skill building.
Excellent communication skills:
Speaking and writing to correctly answer patient emails and credibly represent the quality of services provided within our practice. Minimum 5-years experience in a face-to-face customer/client/patient service industry. Excellent management of details with high priority on documentation. Do you like details? Are you a strong multi-tasker? Are you described as a "friendly person who is over the top with details?" Perfect. You'll fit right in! Drive to work independently and initiative to learn, take notes, and study to train efficiently into our terminology, technology, and processes. Candidate must possess the skills that inspire others to follow and manage an engaged, positive workplace. Ability to work Monday-Friday "in-office." No weekends, no evenings!
