Lead CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant)

Farmersville Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a Lead Aide to oversee floor flow and coordinate daily resident care. This operational leadership position ensures staffing schedules run smoothly and care assignments are completed efficiently across our 74-bed facility. You will serve as the primary liaison between floor staff and administration, managing dependable daily routines and floor execution.

Pay, Schedule & Benefits Pay Rate:

$20/hour

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm (On-call availability required)

Responsibilities Coordinate daily floor assignments for nursing assistants to ensure balanced workloads. Monitor shift transitions and troubleshoot immediate scheduling or attendance gaps. Lead by example on the floor, providing direct resident care and maintaining safety protocols. Audit care documentation for accuracy and compliance with facility standards. Mentor new team members during the onboarding and orientation process. Atmosphere & Environment Our facility operates at 205 Beech St with a 74-bed capacity, allowing for a manageable, close-knit environment where staff can maintain clear oversight of daily operations. The smaller footprint supports direct communication between leadership and floor staff, reducing operational friction. This structure helps team members establish reliable daily routines and maintain stable care standards across the building.

Qualifications Experience:

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience is preferred.

Background Check:

Must pass a criminal background check (legal requirement for SNFs).

Drug Test:

Must be able to pass a drug screening.

Transportation:
