Job Description

Description Soistman Family Dentistry & Associates is an organization that thrives on giving back to our community and enjoys truly making a difference in the lives of our community, our patients as well as our team. With monthly team meetings, quarterly trainings as well as company wide family events for our staff year-round, we provide the perfect balance between work and fun. We have immediate openings within our organization. As a Lead Dental Assistant you'll enjoy working with a fast-paced and energetic team of providers.
Daily functions include:
Overseeing all aspects of patient care such as assisting the dentists in all procedures, stocking patient treatment rooms, scheduling, and performing sterilization and disinfecting duties. Scheduling & Workflow Coordination Create and manage the dental assistant work schedule Review doctor schedules to ensure proper staffing and efficient flow Coordinate coverage and adjust staffing as needed Help maintain timely patient flow and minimize delays throughout the day Inventory & Ordering Handle ordering and inventory management for both office locations Maintain adequate clinical supplies and materials Communicate with vendors and dental representatives regarding products, equipment, and supplies Monitor inventory usage and help control supply organization and efficiency Clinical Responsibilities Assist doctors chairside during procedures Support patient care and treatment flow Help ensure treatment rooms are properly prepared and stocked Maintain compliance with office and infection control standards Operations & Communication Act as a liaison between the dental assistant team, doctors, management, and reps Help implement and reinforce office systems and procedures Identify workflow issues and assist in improving efficiency and organization Support a positive and productive work environment Requirements
  • Certified Dental Assistant
  • Expanded functions (preferred)
  • X-ray certified
  • Exceptional Communication skills
  • Extremely patient-focused
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to thrive in a very fast-paced environment
