As a key team leader, you will coordinate daily driving activities, supervise driver teams, and uphold safety standards across various types of trucks. Your mechanical knowledge and expertise in operating different vehicle types will drive our commitment to reliable service and operational excellence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead by example, optimize logistics processes, and contribute to the overall success of our transportation department. Duties Lead and coordinate a team of drivers, ensuring adherence to schedules, safety protocols, and company policies Operate a variety of trucks including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers with manual transmissions Load and unload cargo efficiently using mechanical skills and proper lifting techniques Conduct routine vehicle inspections, maintenance checks, and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime Plan routes for optimal delivery efficiency while complying with traffic laws and safety regulations Oversee the safe handling of heavy loads and ensure proper securing of cargo during transit Train new drivers on vehicle operation, safety procedures, and company standards Experience Proven experience as a commercial driver with a strong background in driving heavy-duty trucks such as dump trucks, tractor-trailers, front loaders, rear loaders, or roll-off trucks Demonstrated ability to load & unload cargo safely using mechanical knowledge and manual lifting techniques Extensive driving experience with manual transmission vehicles preferred Knowledge of vehicle maintenance basics and troubleshooting mechanical issues Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a transportation or delivery environment is highly desirable Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with relevant endorsements for operating various truck types Familiarity with load securing practices on flatbed trucks and adherence to safety standards Join us as a Lead Driver to steer our logistics operations forward!
