Job Description
About the Role As a Lead Electrical Systems Engineer, you will spearhead the development of sophisticated hardware solutions for high-stakes aerospace and defense applications. You will drive technical innovation by architecting complex electronic systems, ensuring mission-critical reliability through advanced circuit design and firmware integration. Responsibilities Engineer and validate robust electrical systems, focusing on high-performance CCAs and printed circuit boards. Lead the full product lifecycle, from initial architectural design and hardware prototyping to system deployment and field maintenance. Define comprehensive system requirements and hardware specifications to ensure seamless data integration. Develop and optimize embedded firmware to enhance hardware functionality and system performance. Analyze existing designs to identify opportunities for efficiency gains and technological upgrades. Collaborate within cross-functional teams to conduct rigorous design reviews and provide technical mentorship. Document technical specifications, test methodologies, and performance reports to maintain high engineering standards. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical field. 6+ years of professional experience in electrical or computer engineering. Deep expertise in digital communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, USB, TCP/IP, and
MIL-STD-1553.
Advanced proficiency in Altium Designer for complex PWB and CCA development. Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance. Preferred Skills Proven experience in the design and implementation of encryption hardware. Strong background in hardware-software co-design for embedded systems.
