Job Description

Cleveland Metroparks is seeking a part-time Lead Golf Shop Attendant to support the daily operations of the Washington Golf Course Clubhouse. This individual plays a key role in ensuring smooth clubhouse functions, delivering exceptional guest service, and supervising seasonal staff. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience in golf or retail operations who enjoys working in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assists in supervising daily clubhouse operations, including tee sheet adjustments, POS system troubleshooting, and fee accuracy. Oversees guest service and maintains communication between clubhouse staff, grounds crew, and guests. Assists with training and supervision of seasonal and volunteer staff, ensuring high standards in customer service and POS usage. Maintains merchandise and supply inventory, including ordering, stocking, and display upkeep. Prepares accounting records and reports, including daily receipts, weekly summaries, and monthly inventory. Serves as manager on duty in the absence of the Golf Clubhouse Manager.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required Minimum of one year experience in golf operations, retail, or a related field
Qualifications:
Must possess a valid driver's license Strong interpersonal and communication skills High attention to detail and organizational ability Leadership and problem-solving capabilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Professional discretion and ability to manage confidential information Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Work Days:
Schedule varies, candidates must be available to work weekends and evenings
