• Full-time Lead Groundskeeper Groton School's Buildings and Grounds Department is seeking a full-time Lead Groundskeeper . This is a full-time position with excellent benefits. The hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM
• 3:30 PM.

This is a working lead role and requires an individual who will direct and oversee the work and activities performed by the Grounds Department. Responsibilities Overseeing the members of the Grounds team in the maintenance of the campus grounds, including mowing, trimming, removing leaves, and performing various other assigned tasks Requirements Qualified applicants will possess: Good mechanical skills and the ability to operate a variety of landscaping equipment, including tractors, mowers, grass trimmers, and hand tools A positive attitude and very good interpersonal skills since work will be performed among students, faculty, and staff on campus grounds Ability to shovel snow and occasionally perform heavy lifting Willingness to undergo a brief physical fitness test before finalization of hire, given the physical nature of the role 10-15 years of landscaping experience High school or trade school diploma Current driver's license This is a non-exempt, benefited position with an hourly pay range of $35.00 to $37.00.
